Is it the sound of your alarm clock going off? How about the bright sunrays seeping through your bedroom blinds? Or maybe it’s your pets scratching at your bedroom door that wakes you up in the morning. Either way, most rather have the option to hit snooze, close the blinds, or lock the pets away to gain some extra sleep time before starting their work day. However, those extra minutes of sleep are never desired more than on your birthday, especially when you’re coming into work. That’s why while you’re collecting those extra minutes at home – your co-workers over at BMI Elite are up early and in the office decorating and making sure you understand your special day isn’t being overlooked.
Coming into the office early, I was immediately greeted by the sounds of scotch tape being pulled, balloons being inflated and co-workers laughing while they decorated our co-worker Christy’s office/desk. Although I had trouble getting the balloons to inflate to desired sizes, my other co-workers and Brandon (the owner of the company) made up for my slack, inflating at least 5 balloons before I could do one. (I know what you’re thinking, but in my defense, I have never inflated a balloon without a machine before, so don’t judge me.)
It didn’t just stop there – we sprinkled confetti throughout Christy’s office while one of the other co-workers thought it would be funny to wrap all of her office accessories in wrapping paper as if they were gifts.
All in all, I would say it was quite the success as Christy is now currently sitting in her office of joy with a big smile on her face.
At BMI Elite every employee is special and no one’s birthday will go overlooked!
Happy Birthday Christy! We hope you have a great day and enjoy the decorations in the office!
